About the Bundle

A complete Ayurvedic skincare ritual has three natural steps: cool and tone, nourish the face, and deeply nourish the body. The Rose, Jojoba & Black Sesame Skincare Ritual Bundle brings together one product for each step.

Organic Rose Water Toner is pure steam-distilled Rosa damascena hydrosol, known in Ayurveda as Shatapatri ("the hundred-petalled") and classified as cooling (sheetala), the supreme herb for balancing Pitta dosha in both body and mind. With a natural pH that mirrors the skin's own protective environment, it tones, hydrates, and prepares the skin for what comes next.

Organic Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia chinensis) is technically a liquid wax ester rather than a true oil, closely resembling the skin's own natural sebum. Classified Tridoshic in Ayurveda, suitable for all three doshas, it's the ideal lightweight facial oil to layer over rose water, locking in the hydration the toner provides.

Organic Black Sesame Oil (Sesamum indicum), traditionally described by the classical scholar Charaka as "the best of all oils," is warm, heavy, and unctuous, the foundational oil of Abhyanga (Ayurvedic self-massage) and traditional body nourishment, extending this ritual from the face to the whole body.

Together, this trio takes you from cleansing through to a complete face-and-body skincare ritual: rose water to tone and cool, Jojoba to nourish the face and lock in moisture, and Black Sesame to deeply nourish the body. All three are 100% pure, certified organic, with no synthetic fragrances, alcohol, or artificial additives.

Benefits

Toning, Hydration & Skin Preparation

  • Tones and naturally refines pores, Rose Water's naturally astringent character gently tones the skin surface, supporting a naturally refined, smooth complexion
  • Deeply hydrating and refreshing, provides lightweight, immediately absorbed hydration that supports the skin's natural moisture balance
  • Supports the skin's natural pH balance, restoring natural balance after cleansing and preparing the skin for enhanced absorption of the oils that follow
  • Naturally soothing and calming to the skin, supports comfortable, settled skin ease and a naturally cool, refreshed complexion

Facial & Body Nourishment

  • Deeply moisturises and nourishes all skin types, Jojoba's sebum-like wax ester structure is absorbed completely without leaving any greasy residue or clogging pores
  • Traditionally used to deeply nourish dry, fine, and delicate skin, Black Sesame Oil's rich fatty acid profile is traditionally valued for penetrating nourishment
  • Supports naturally radiant, healthy-looking skin, all three products are naturally rich in antioxidant compounds, from Rose Water's aromatic alcohols to Jojoba and Black Sesame's Vitamin E
  • Non-comedogenic, Jojoba carries a comedogenic rating of 0–2 and Black Sesame Oil 1–3, suitable for most skin types

Natural Calm & Emotional Ease

  • Naturally uplifts mood and supports a sense of emotional ease and openness, the fragrance of Rosa damascena is traditionally valued as one of aromatherapy's most celebrated heart-opening aromas
  • Traditionally associated with opening the Anahata (heart chakra), rose is traditionally considered the supreme heart-opening botanical in Ayurvedic and yogic tradition
  • Traditionally used to support a feeling of natural calm and groundedness, Black Sesame Oil's warm, heavy, unctuous nature is traditionally valued for supporting a settled state through warm oil massage

Pitta-Cooling & Whole-Body Balance

  • The premier Pitta-cooling botanical in Ayurveda, Rose Water's cooling, sweet, and astringent qualities are traditionally used to counteract heat and intensity in both body and mind
  • Suitable for all three doshas, Rose Water and Jojoba Oil are traditionally considered Tridoshic, while Black Sesame Oil is traditionally favoured for Vata and Kapha constitutions
  • Supports the body's natural daily cooling during warm seasons with Rose Water, balanced by Black Sesame's warming, grounding qualities during cooler months

A Complete, Versatile Ritual

  • One bundle covers toning, facial nourishment, body nourishment, and massage, everything for a complete daily and weekly skincare ritual
  • Rose Water also doubles as a body mist, pillow spray, and meditation space mist beyond facial use
  • Black Sesame Oil extends into scalp massage, traditional oil pulling, and culinary use

Directions for Use

Step 1 – Rose Water Toner (morning & evening):

Spray directly onto the face and neck immediately after cleansing, while the skin is still slightly damp. Pat gently, do not rub. Allow to absorb for 30 seconds before applying the next step.

Step 2 – Jojoba Oil (morning & evening):

Apply 3–5 drops to the still-slightly-damp face, neck, and décolletage. Warm between your fingertips and press gently into the skin, locking in the hydration from the rose water.

Step 3 – Black Sesame Oil (2–4 times per week, or daily in cooler months):

Warm the oil in a bowl of hot water for 5–10 minutes. Apply generously over the body beginning at the crown, using long strokes on the limbs and circular strokes on the joints and abdomen. Leave on 10–40 minutes, then remove with exfoliating gloves and warm water.

After Abhyanga:

Finish with a light mist of Rose Water and a few drops of Jojoba Oil over the whole body to seal in moisture and refresh the skin.

Rose Water throughout the day:

Mist over the face at any point as a natural mood-lifting, refreshing ritual, especially in warm weather or mid-afternoon. Also suitable as a pillow spray or meditation space mist. Store in the refrigerator for an especially cooling mist.

Black Sesame Oil, additional uses:

Warm and massage into the scalp for 30 minutes to overnight before washing out, or use 1 tablespoon for traditional oil pulling (Gandusha), swished in the mouth for 10–20 minutes each morning before eating or drinking.

Safety:For external use only (except where culinary use of Black Sesame Oil is specified elsewhere). Perform a patch test before full use of any product in this bundle. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes when using the oils; Rose Water is traditionally used as a gentle eye compress but is not intended for direct eye application as a spray. Never microwave or heat oils over direct high heat when warming for Abhyanga. Consult a dermatologist for persistent skin concerns.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's included in the Skincare Ritual Bundle? +

The bundle includes Organic Rose Water Toner (200ml or 500ml), Organic Jojoba Oil (200ml or 500ml), and Organic Black Sesame Oil (200ml or 500ml), a complete three-step Ayurvedic skincare ritual.

What order should I use these three products in? +

After cleansing, mist Rose Water onto damp skin, pat gently, and allow to absorb. Follow with a few drops of Jojoba Oil to lock in the hydration. Use Black Sesame Oil 2–4 times per week (or daily in cooler months) as a full-body Abhyanga oil, separate from your facial routine.

Can I use Black Sesame Oil on my face too? +

Black Sesame Oil can be used on the face in small amounts if you prefer a heavier, more warming oil, though many people find Jojoba Oil's lighter, non-comedogenic character better suited to daily facial use, reserving Black Sesame Oil for the body.

Is Rose Water suitable for sensitive or Pitta-type skin? +

Yes, Rose Water is traditionally considered the premier Pitta-cooling botanical in Ayurveda, particularly suited to skin prone to sensitivity, redness, or overheating. It's free from synthetic fragrance, preservatives, and alcohol, making it gentler than conventional toners.

Can this bundle be used by all Ayurvedic constitutions? +

Yes. Rose Water and Jojoba Oil are both traditionally considered Tridoshic, suitable for all three doshas. Black Sesame Oil is traditionally favoured for Vata and Kapha constitutions and can be used by Pitta types in moderation, particularly externally.

Are these products suitable for daily use? +

Rose Water and Jojoba Oil are gentle and suitable for twice-daily facial use. Black Sesame Oil is traditionally used daily during autumn, winter, and Vata/Kapha seasons for full-body Abhyanga, reducing to 2–4 times per week the rest of the year. Always perform a patch test before full use of any new product.
