About the Bundle

Some rituals are best kept simple: a warming cup of tea, naturally sweetened. The Calming Tea & Honey Ritual Bundle pairs Vitality Now's Sandalwood, Saffron & Blue Lotus Tea with raw Stingless Bee Honey, exactly as the tea's own directions already suggest, "sweeten with a small amount of raw honey if desired."

The tea itself is a 14-herb certified organic blend, combining well-known calming botanicals, Chamomile, Skullcap, and Ashwagandha, with more distinctive aromatic ingredients including Sandalwood, Saffron, and Blue Lotus, alongside warming digestive herbs (Cardamom, Fennel, Galangal, Pippali) and traditional tonic botanicals (Hawthorn Berries, Licorice, Saw Palmetto, Nutmeg). Sandalwood and Blue Lotus are traditionally classified in Ayurveda as Medhya (mind-supporting) botanicals, while Saffron is one of the world's most prized culinary and herbal spices. Naturally caffeine-free, suitable for any time of day.

The honey is raw, unprocessed multifloral honey harvested from stingless bees in the Luwu region of South Sulawesi, Indonesia, with a fresh, floral, tart flavour and a naturally complex, slightly bitter finish. It's included here simply as a natural way to sweeten the tea, or to enjoy on its own.

  • A traditional natural sweetener across many cultures, complementing the tea's own gently sweet, warming character

Directions for Use

As a hot tea:

Add 1–2 teaspoons of the tea blend to a teapot or infuser. Pour water that's been off the boil for 2–3 minutes. Steep for 5–10 minutes. Strain.

Sweeten with honey:

Once the tea has cooled slightly (very hot liquid can affect raw honey's delicate flavour and natural qualities), stir in a small spoonful of Stingless Bee Honey to taste.

Thermos method:

Place 1 tablespoon of tea in a thermos with freshly boiled water. Seal and steep for 20–30 minutes. Strain and sweeten with honey once cooled to a comfortable drinking temperature.

With milk:

Strain the steeped tea and add warm dairy or plant-based milk if desired, particularly for an evening cup, then sweeten with honey.

Honey on its own:

Enjoy Stingless Bee Honey directly by the spoonful, or stirred into other foods and drinks, separately from the tea.

Daily use:

The tea is suitable for daily use as an ongoing herbal tea practice. Enjoy honey as part of a varied, balanced diet.
