Directions for Use
Standard decoction:
Add 1–3 teaspoons of Anti-Ama Tea to 1 litre of cold water in a saucepan. Bring to the boil, then reduce to a gentle simmer and cook for 15–20 minutes. Strain well and pour into a thermos to keep warm throughout the day.
Thermos method (simpler daily preparation):
Add 1–3 teaspoons to a thermos and fill with freshly boiled water. Seal and steep for 20–30 minutes. Strain.
Sweeten with honey:
Once the tea has cooled to a warm, comfortable drinking temperature (very hot liquid can affect raw honey's delicate flavour and natural qualities), stir in a small spoonful of Stingless Bee Honey to soften the tea's warming, slightly bitter character.
Throughout the day:
Sip the prepared decoction warm throughout the day, in place of regular water or tea, if desired.
Seasonal and programme use:
Traditionally used during seasonal Ayurvedic wellness periods, particularly spring and autumn. Some people use it consistently for 2–4 weeks as part of a seasonal wellness routine.
Honey on its own:
Enjoy Stingless Bee Honey directly by the spoonful, or stirred into other foods and drinks, separately from the tea.
